56 years after it was decided it was needed, the Bedford Bypass is nearing completion. The last single carriageway length of it.We have the most photogenic mayor though, always being photographed doing nothing

Few years ago , I opted out of badge snobbery ( now thinking I've actually opted in ) and got a SKODA. Now , they've got a better record than than most of the rest of the VAG group, and there was talk of the Checzs( sp ,mods ,please ) trying to push up their wages to close up on the VW workers .
Now, the Chinese have taken over the Longbridge plant, they've gone for another cheap country .
How long before the UK is next to get car production back ( because there's no work ,and folks are being forced to work for the dole  ).

Maybe they will not produce products to the like of the EU - that would be an interesting situation. I cannot see the Chinese bowing down to their every whim. :scratchchin:

Be interesting to see the EU try and legislate against the Chinese muscle . But I suspect ,that the French would find a way round that .(Thinking of Lambs and apple  s)
