It has been some time since the Drivers' Alliance has been in contact.

However, there is a possible change going forward and we are considering working with and merging with Association of British Drivers. Both organisations share the same ideals and both organisations have assets which would compliment the other. The new organisation will be stronger and far more capable as a campaigning group.

There will be a meeting at the Heritage Motor Centre Motoring museum in Gaydon on Saturday the 14th July to discuss and review how both groups might take this forward. Drivers' Alliance members will not be able to participate in the Association of British Drivers AGM but are welcome to attend the rest of the event which starts at 11.30am.

As a supporter of the Drivers' Alliance you are invited along to meet the people concerned and we would love to hear your views. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the only independent motoring organisation in the UK which is run by its supporters.

There are two guest speakers for the event:
Peter Carroll from Fair Fuel UK
Andrew Allison from the Taxpayers Alliance
You will also be able to visit the historic Motor Museum with its fantastic collection of famous and vintage cars, details of which can be found here: Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon

For those with a satnav, the postcode is CV35 0BJ. You can download a PDF map by following this link. PDF MAP

Numbers are limited and will be allocated on a 'First-Come, First-Served' basis' so if you would like to attend, please let me know by replying to this email or clicking the link below.

Thank you for your continued support.

Founder - Drivers' Alliance

56 years after it was decided it was needed, the Bedford Bypass is nearing completion. The last single carriageway length of it.We have the most photogenic mayor though, always being photographed doing nothing
