(8/11/05 - HOUSTON) — A traffic stop turned into something more when a woman was pulled over for speeding. When asked why she was going too fast, she told investigators she was trying to get to a phone to report a murder.

They'd probably still fine her here unless the media made a sufficiently big stink about it. In the US, I don't know, maybe not. She was stopped by BiBs who can take account of the circumstances, so I'd hope they'd have seen sense.
