One of our local boy racers has killed himself!!!

Not what I'd call great. Great would have been him getting sensible and driving safely. There's not a lot great about another avoidable road death regardless of what we might think about the individual or whether they've brought it on themselves.

Confused on several points.

Why is it great news? Its sad when anyone dies on our roads, isn't that the point of both safespeed and the procamera lobbies? Even boy racers have parents.

Secondly where is local? To me? To you? where are you?

Is there a link to a news story on this so we can follow the developments and see why?

If you just popped on here for a snipe please don't use tragedy for your own gleeful purposes, its not very becoming.

Excuse me!! I do not relish in the fact that somebody has died in a road accident, whether this was a joy rider or anyone else, and I do not see it as good news. We should first look at what measures could have been taken to stop this accident happening in the first place. I don’t know if you have any children, but what if it was one of yours, would you be jumping for joy then!
