I am an insomniac and an informationaholic. I can be found lurking on several boards, including "unsigned", uk-traffic" - and now this one.

Hi. None of you know me, I shouldn't think.

I found this forum as a result of a link at the Cumbria Safety Camera forum (which has a lot of hot topics, it would seem!), and found a thread I couldn't resist replying to, so I registered.

I'm Mike (surprisingly enough!), 17, hailing from south west Cumbria, near Barrow-in-Furness. I've only been driving about a month, but despite that would consider myself more sensible than a lot of people on the road. Having said that, I do accept that I have virtually no experience, and try to take this into account when driving.

I strongly disagree with the 70mph limit on the motorway (see my thread) and consider most speed cameras as dangerous, for the generally well-known reasons shared, I hope, by a lot of you :)

If you're ever driving this way and see a red Corsa 1.2 with a short bespectacled driver, it's possibly me. Or possibly not. :D
