Per Manchester/Bolton/Lancashire Evening papers....
Lancs BiB are taking a mangled Nissan to various sites - one was the service station on M61 the other day

They are trying to drive home the message that drivers could end up in such a wreck if they decide to drink "one or two more for the road and for Santa!

" They even have Santa and his elves and fairies giving out leaflets alonside the crumpled Nissan - leaflet says what I and IG posted on this site by the way!
If you recall - I explained the effects on body and IG from a police point of view

Hey they are lurking and taking note then
Anyway - it seems Lancs have learend some hard lessons from appalling records since scamming took over there and have decided to put officers out and about the area.
Be warned! Lancs state they have checkpoints throughout the day and also at night and early morning. Main worries notably young men aged 17-25 - their rising death toll is not down to speed per the article in the Bolton paper (Lucie McFell page 6) - but down to drinking and then driving.
So far Lancs claim they have caught moire drink drivers this year than last year.

hardly surprising if they are making more routine pulls. Lancs stats per the paper show 7 deaths, and 300 SIs as a result of excess booze within their KSI returns.
Well - can only say again - book a taxi after a hot night on the tiles
