A pick-up truck driver has called on al drivers to challenge council parkign fines after his fine was squashed!
Nick McCallum was fined because his truck "would not fit into the bay"
He won . because the photo of his infringement of the bay markings was "inconclusive"
Nick parked his Nissan Navare Adventure pick up on May 11 and was

when he received a £30 fine for "being beyond the bay markings"
Another car had exceeded its bay and Nick had a lot of manoeuvring to parallel park there.
His tyres were "touching" the white lines and two bobbies on the beat advised him to appeal as the penalty was a nonsense.

The photo was not clear - but the wheel did look to be beyond the bay area.
However on this occasion we decided to waive the fine and we will inform the gentleman in writing of our decision
But to Nick in his Pick Up!
