It was like this :30: only the red bit was blue.

I will try to get a picture if I remember tomorrow.

Weird. Can red change to blue if a pigment breaks down due to UV?

Was it faded looking?

It looked new, I will take a look if I drive past tomorrow.

It was about 6 half six in the evening when I drove past. And the sign is facing North.?could be the refaction of the light from the surface?

I've seen that one too and been meaning to post here asking what it means. It's near a school, but that's the only reason I can think of.

All dyes can break down - but blue usually goes before the others in my experience!

What confuses me the blue sign is bigger than the red one.

Is 30 the limit or is it telling you to slow down?

What a pile of poo.
The first and last signs are not in the TSRGD. None of it, even the words.

Surely they are wrong and/or confusing? Why are they there? Who authorised it?

Are there any other speed limit signs around? If it's a 30 limit then the :30: sign is not allowed to be used as a repeater! (because there are street lamps) Only :880: is allowed.
