They are now saying motorists contribute nothing to the social and environmental 'impact' of motoring because all motoring taxes are used to fund the NHS etc (Tony Blair also said this at fuel protests). so we should be stumping up even more
Funny that I thought fuel tax was used as an environmental tax due to our incessant pollution (due to stop-start engineered congestion, see Ken livingstone and most local Councils), noise (stop-start for speed humps), senseless killings (say no more! AHEM AHEM AHERAS KHHAMERAS!).
They say:
Road tax is an indirect tax so (32 MILLION of us) we are not actually paying anything to drive on the roads!!!!! WHAT WHAT WHAT
WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK I GOT THAT LITTLE DISC ON THE WINDSCREEN?
