Surely the NIP is asking who the driver was, so do you mean that they either record the sex of the registered owner/keeper, or that they try to determine the gender of the driver from the photograph; a risky practice in this day and age in some cases, even if you can see them completely clearly!

After my FOI requests to camera partnerships they do not all follow one proceedure. There is no written process and "training" is passed by word of mouth. There is no box to tick "male or femail " on the serco system.
