The thing I find quite worrying is that 35% don't think we have!

Is it fair then, to think that 35% of road-users believe that adhering at all times to the speed limit means therefore they are safe?

That's a hell of a lot of road-users :(

35% saying no - could be the e petition's friend -the multi voter.

I just voted YES and the NOs are down to 26%. Maybe I should vote again - several times. :)

Why do you keep rattling out this misappropriated inference?

Just because some people support speed cameras, it in NO WAY implies that they think it is safe to consistently travel at the speed limit.

perhaps they do not drive- someone using public transport/bicycle/pedestrian with little knowledge about driving will, when told traffic cameras slow down cars and make roads safer, believe it without question because they know no better.

Just because some people support speed cameras, it in NO WAY implies that they think it is safe to consistently travel at the speed limit.

But it does imply that they haven't thought things through properly. It implies they are of a lesser intellect.

Please - let's try to stick to WHAT people are arguing and concluding, and the validity of their thought processes and conclusions rather than how competent they are at reasoning the points or their depth of thought.
