A YOUNG dad from Manchester has been killed in a horrific car crash in North Wales.
Christopher Higgins, 18, from Urmston, had to be cut free from the wreckage of his car following the accident in Kinmel Bay, Conwy.
Mr Higgins, of Fairholme Avenue, was driving along Chester Avenue in Kinmel Bay when the Vauxhall Astra crashed on a bridge.
Emergency services were called and fire crews cut him free from the vehicle but he was pronounced dead at the scene, shortly before 2am yesterday.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: "Shortly before 2am North Wales Police received reports of a one vehicle collision involving a Vauxhall Astra on the bridge by Chester Avenue.
"An ambulance was called but the 18-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody else was in the vehicle."
So how it happened - condolences to family.
I guess the speed cam there could not prevent..

a kid getting tired after a job of work.
Perhaps a little more education on the real" killers with their stealth danger" and less single focus on a cash cow.... and we might just reclaim our throne of being the best and safest road users in Europe
Up to you .. and "green haughtiness" is no answer to a problem.
Try riding in China.
