Two years ago this week.. a 19 year old thug stole a car.

He crashed on the M602. The coward and his girlfriend and another so-called pal .. flagged down another motorist to take him to Hope Hospital. Incredibly the driver did not check out the wreck .. or call the ambulance.. but took the thug at face value and drove him and the walking wounded to Hope Hospital.

Meanwhile .. a 12 year old was bleeding to death in the wreck.

Now this 12 year old was supposedly "in care" and was supposedly "tucked up in bed in his dorm in the care home". Why he was there? The kid suffered from an attention deficit disorder. Now .. this label gets bandied around .. but when it's genuine.. MY GOD! We have a foster kid with aspergers. We did have one in the past with an attention deficit disorder. Now the asperger kid is perhaps an "aloof and intelligent kitten". I find him "refreshing and very intelligent" The kid who has an attention deficit disorder .. is usually still fairly bright .. but the exact polarisation of the aspergic kid who will "concentrate and single focus forhours" whilst this type will flit at great speed from A to B.. Buzzing all the time. Never able to sit still.. focus .. or concentrate. These kids are affable.. basically nice souls all the same. BUT EASILY LED.

Now I have tried to establish why this kid was perhaps innocent and led himself to be led astray by older thugs.

It's part of the general malaise gripping the country. We are too politically correct when dealing with real thugs and fail the truly vulnerable .. for whom this "same political correctness would actually be justified" ...

The boy had been placed into care by his desperate mother who feared he was being drawn into crime by his gullibility. SHE TRUSTED THE SOCIAL SERVICES.

At the time he lay bleeding to death in a car.. she was consulting her appointed solicitor as to what to do for her younger son. OK .. so she was a single mother. So? So are widows and divorcees in reality. She has an older boy. now 21 .. with a career ahead of him.

But her easily led younger son.. got involved with a gang of thugs. She had him placed into care in the hope of breaking this link. She contacted him daily and visited him twice per week.

But.. tragically .. her boy somehow ended up bleeding to death after a thug lost control on the M602.

Now .. she was chatting about her son's future with a solicitor three hours after he died. She found out about it when she went out to buy a sandwich lunch and bought the Bolton News. She saw the headlines.. and felt sad for the boy - same age as her own. as yet her son had not been identified

When the police came to give her the awful news .. she

i went wild. ScreamIng. Did not know what to do with myself.

I was in such a state that they would not let me see him[/quote]

Now .. the 19 year old pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving.. failing to report an accident.. taking a vehicle without consent.. and wounding himself. The car belonged to his own mother..

The 19 year old driver was overtaking a car. His passenger felt afraid and GRABBED THE STEERING WHEEL. He lost control and hit the concrete slabs for roadworks which have been there for 20 years or so.. to my own knowledge of this stretch

But the 19 year old thug.. was way over the drink drive limit. He was also well high from his illegal use of drugs

Now .. he is serving an "indefinite jail term".

He was sentenced to this before the new laws came into place by the way. On the topic of the new laws.. I am right to think "SPIN and CON". We already have the legislation. GMP managed to get the right evidence.. which does not make them "a failing force" because they did not meet some obscure target after CC Todd died.

But given the report.. all the same.. who really caused the accident. The driver or the passenger who grabbed the steering wheel? :scratchchin:

I fear that the 12 year old still has not been served with fuil justice. All the kids in that car were party to the theft and the daft fey spirits within the vehicle during this silly romp.

Bolton social services claim they "provided adequate care for this vulnerable kid" :banghead:

Sorry. but we foster. We get kids released from such institutions into our care from time to time. We do not manage to lose any of them. I admit one socked me in the jaw in a tantrum once. He was more upset about it than I was .. and it proved to be a turning point .. but perhaps because me and Wildy chose to give him another chance. Wayne now has a career .. a future. We also have a reliable plumber
