A WOMAN was left stranded in the fast lane of a busy dual carriageway when a driver threw her car keys on to the opposite side of the road in a fit of road rage.
Anthony John Cummings, aged 45, was driving his Jeep Cherokee in front of Farah Roked’s vehicle, when he slammed on the brakes, forcing her to a halt.
Cummings, of Smithills Dean Road, Smithills, then jumped out of his car, racially abused the woman and grabbed her keys which he threw across St Peter’s Way, Bolton, on August 13, 2007.
Cummings, who pleaded guilty to dangerous driving when he appeared at Bolton Crown Court yesterday, is thought to have become angry because Mrs Roked was driving too close to him.
Cummings, who was bailed, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and ordered to return to the court on September 16 when he will be sentenced.
A lesson to all those who advocate "BRAKE TESTING".
I should put this on the PH site. I am appalled at how many there seem to think "brake testing" is a "good idea"
Now .. I do not condone tailgating.. and it's so much to do with perceptiion and comfort space.
But he had a choice. This was a dual carriageway. It has a 50 mph limit. It used to be 70 mph ..
but I suppose the suicide jumpers put paid to normality here 
I do not need to post links to substantiate. I was a junior medic in A&E . I know what we tried to save there.. and LOST. There are archives.. even recent incidents this very year Anyway .. dual carriageway.. He could have moved to L1. Let her pass. Her licence risk past the Gatsos there to be blunt.
He did not need then to be such a PRAT!

Have no sympathy. He deserves his ban for being a PRAT.
