Basically French police have set targets for all road offences.

So make sure

1. You do not speed in known cam-fest spots (do homework.., read maps.. check internet for locations und newspapers for van sites

2. Obey red lightss

3. Wear seatbelts

4. Have hi-viz in handy spot in saloon of car .. plus all the other first aid/spare requirements in car.

5, Avoid trees. (They have a special unit with regard to hitting trees apparently
