Notice the Scamera spokesperson did not have much to say. Not blurting out the usual statistics. They have been caught on the back foot.

BTW this is the third name I have seen speaking for the Scamera Squad. I wonder if they have had problems with staff turnover...

Accidents and injuries on Warwickshire's roads increased last year despite an increase in the number of speed cameras in the county.

Are they finding it out the hard way , or is there an election in the offing??

Interviewing Supt Bond of Warks police. Bond trotted out the old rubbish, even claiming that in Warks casualities were "down" by 50% (from what, i ask), AND sidesteping most of the questions on Brainstorm, crediting cuts due to cameras, with a smokescreen on other tactics.

I wrote to the local council. I got a "standard" reply. I have written back three times and have yet to get a responce.

My question is ..
why have road deaths in Liecester gone up 14% from 2003 to 2004

I suggest you do the same.

Also the figures for March will be out in a couple of weeks. As soon as they are I will be writing to the paper again asking why deaths continue to go up in Q1 2005
