Almost £350,000 is to be spent by the East Sussex council safety committee on trying to cut speeding in rural areas.

Most of the council's community safety fund will go on laser speed guns and speed display machines.

The committee has also allocated £30,000 to a pilot project in the Rother district aimed at keeping young offenders out of trouble.
