Just a forewarning that they are putting up SPECS cameras between J5 and J7 of the M62, looks like they will be starting some roadworks there (OMEGA?). I saw the blue gantries being installed today with the yellow
CCTV style cameras on the top.

Who is responsible for speed cameras on motorways? Someone should send them the TRL595 report.

I will be avoiding the M62 for a while - it will be a permanent set of enforced roadworks effectively running from Prescot to Manchester!

It's the Highways Agency. They commissioned and paid for the report!
