Per the Bolton paper (general pool reporter) on page 2.
A police officer was the victim of crime - when some audacious villains nicked his motorbike!
The officer had been dealing with an inquiry at an address adjacent to Leigh
Police Station

last night.
But when he finished and turned around.... his bike had ......
vanished!
The blue and white Suzuki - Registration Number MW 03 LBE is worth £3,000. It did not have any GMP markings on it and was one of the bikes used by GMP to tackle off-road bikers.....
Inspector Burrows of Leigh's Traffic Division said it was unlikely the thieves realised it was a police motorbike - and they want it back!
He reckons they pushed it away whilst the officer's back was turned....
Should not laugh really - but that is one hell of an understatement
If anyone lurking of a member sees above vehicle - police would appreciate a phone call per the paper on
0161- 856 7202...
