The Jeremy Vine Show - BBC Radio 2
Topic : Careless Driving, resulting in Penalty Points and prison sentences.
I had about 2 minutes, and tried to get over some good points.

Just listened to it. I thought you came across clearly, making your point in a calm but genuinely concerned manner.

I think it will be very difficult for opponents to call you a 'boy racer' without making themselves look ridiculous.

Oh crap - we had radio 2 on, but I guess I didn't hear you. I do tend to ignore Vine though, I don't like him very much...

Congratulations on your 1st interview though!

Well done. He is an awfull person to be interviewd by because he allways has his adgenda.

R2 is also good high profile. Tells the media we are still in bussiness.

It was an excellent interview and, at the risk of offending, I think a female voice often hits home more on matters such as this. Brake et al know this only too well.

Claire..

We hit the "listen again" buttons. I should have posted this before now.

But WELL DONE

You came across as sincere.. warm. Of course .. a little nervy. but heck.. first interview on a radio show listened to by most out there. Like Vine/R2 or not. ... it is the most popular station and we have the radio tuned to it about 60% of our listening to radio time. I like Classic FM and R4 too

But Vine. .. R2.. you have most of UK tuned in really.. and you came across very well.

Take each PR/radio interview as a learning exericise too. It will help you gain confidence all the same. It will also help you heal.. by doing your best by Paul's work to date.

But.. Claire.. speaking as medic.. keep a balance and make sure you keep some time for yourself.. some treats for yourself and eat properly.
