Certainly noone can argue that it would still have taken place had the camera not been there, it can only be a camera side-effect! I'm very surprised that the police service identified the driver however! :twisted:

Taking your hands off the wheel and eyes off the road at any speed is irresponsible and dangerous; what asinine comments from BROKEN that it has anything to do with the "culture of excessive speed". In fact, how does she know its excessive, when the photo omits any information about the weather, road and traffic conditions?

As far as they are concerned he triggered the speed camera, ergo he was going faster than the speed limit ergo his speed was excessive.

Bloody modern press - they can remove things at the press of a button and no one will ever know. I just read it and it looks like you are disgusted the driver was going 'fast' now
