Apparently we're in there with the 'roadworks bombshell' story.

Hi Paul,
Just read it. Its very good in presenting the facts - no bias for the partnerships. No web address for safe speed though ! Its written by Robin Yapp - is it worth an email asking him to include safespeed web address in future ?

:) Richard

They don't do this as a rule I believe.

In the local paper there was a bice story about a PePiPoo court case a month or two back, nice little coloured "info box" with a short description of PePiPoo and the URL :)

Unfortunately a week or two later there was a double page spread about supposed accident reductions and masses of partnership spiel. I suspect that they got a call suggesting that it was essential to redress the balance....

If you type either "Safe Speed" or "Safespeed" into Google, the website comes up as the first result, so it won't be hard to find :)

Paul another good piece of work by you.

This has nailed another scamera lie.

Just a thought but in the info released does it show any evidence that slow speeds such as 40 or 50mph on motorways makes life safer?

In my experience the effects of the lower limits bring in a constriction of the traffic as soon as the signs become visible with some sudden braking.
