Speed trap bonus

A mobile speed camera generated £5,775 an hour in fines after a 70mph limit was cut to 30mph in roadworks on the A11 at Thickthorn, near Norwich. Paul Smith, the founder of the Safe Speed road safety campaign, said: “Actions like this destroy respect for our entire system of speed limits.”
