ok - a controversial one.....

I consistently find my driving is better the morning after a sex-free night compared to one after a good time. Can anyone else corroborate that - or refute it?

(I split this post from the topic about "off days")

Ah, yes, two of my favourite subjects. :)

I've frequently heard sportsmen talk about a relationship between recent sex and their "competitive edge". I'm not sure that the relationship is always in the same direction - I suspect that some thrive on tension and some thrive on relaxation.

But I've never noticed a significant effect on my driving. This may be because I see no room at all for "competitive" in (my) road driving.

(I think I see another interesting spin-off subject here... See new post I'm about to write)

Personally .. find my driving improves all the more after a particularly "wild" night

Unfortunately .... it seems to result in kittens ....

But you know that saying:

"Sex is like Maths - subtract the clothes, divide the legs and pray you do not multiply and add"

Only if it is in the outside lanes on the M/way it seems.

Maybe you should be paying some sort of single pleasure tax.

I wonder if people drive like a 'coffee bean shaker' 'cos they've been one the previous night and are jealous of those who've 'shared'

:D

or maybe those who've shared are driving worse because they're so relaxed

This is mischievious and possibly libellous but with reference to sportsmen......

Does it matter who with?

Did a certain footie player play better or worse after sex with his wife or (alleged) mistresses?

Now that is the million pound question!

As for me... am I better or worse after a night of passion?

That's for me to know and my "customers" to find out!

Perhaps this is a whole new ballgame (I KNOW-BAD SEXIST PUN) but do we need to have a whole new definition of "Service stations"

Mad Doc (himself!)

She may have started out with 9 lives ... she has used some of these up!

PH did have a news item - appearently car drivers are healthier, happier and have a higher sexual potency than folks who use alternative transport.

Well - it must be true - Hey - I've fathered five!  And catnip or no catnip ....

I'm always much more chilled behind the wheel after a nights "entertainment".

It's a bit worrying with all the teenage drivers about, I can remember girls seemed to have a thing about offering, erm, Oral pleasure while driving.

Of course, I'm forty now so I don't condine this sort of thing anymore!

good grief :D

I'd be interested in the science of this. Would you be more chilled because a certain amount of erm substance  has left the body, and therefore your mind isn't permanently thinking about sex (whats it supposed to be now, every 12 seconds), or would you be more aggesive behind the wheel, as the body is now incresing its testosterone in order to make more of the ahem (bad cough) substance :D

Hmm I'll have to have a word with the wife, and try a few experiments :D

All in the same of science of course  :D

Hmmm I concur.
The 6 hour drive Northbound after 2 weeks "inhenemy territory" seems to be quite good and enjoyable (apart from the Newark roadworks) but going back down with an empty sack IS THE PITS!!! LOL.

MoJo.

As a fully fledged member of the "fancy the opposite sex brigade" (and married so the cat can look at the queen you know) but not touch!

I find that after a night of chasing the beaver I like to think I am more relaxed and alert and concentrating on what I am supposed to be doing (driving safely) and not spending every 12 seconds (so the experts say) thinking about what I am hoping I am going to get tonight instead of what I have already had the previous night!

Are you (all) or I are really strange, because to me it makes not difference whatsoever to anything I do, including driving :)
