Driving down the M6 today , I came up with an alternative excellent use for camera vans ---sit the on top of motorway road bridges - give them long range cameras - let them take photos - of middle lane hogger- then send them photos and fines. Given the paranoia about vans on bridges - should cure the MLOC in about two/three weeks flat.
