whilst about itSounds like a darned good advert.
How about slotting between the goings on down Coronation Street. Or would this be too much to take in between the dreardry goings on with Drearydre and Ken, or whatever. or whoever..
Sure I make sure all our own kids and those we foster fully understand dangers and how to use the Green Cross Code. I have been approached by a parenting magazine for interview and article on my parenting skills - just to show off
I think I will do the interview and plug this site

whilst about it.
However, back to seriousness.
Being a parent - a normal parent - it really is the hardest job on earth. I have an obligation, moral and bounded duty to bring up children to be responsible adults - capable of making their own moral and ethical decisions and I do tell them that mistakes are normal and nothing to be ashamed of. However, I do tell them that they should chalk these up to experience, learn from them and try not to do them again.
I make them aware of danger and give a parental strategy to deal with this .. but then I do make a point of chatting and making a lot of time for my kids. We try to do most things as a family unit and I think this and the fostering is why a magazine targetted at parents wants an interview with us. Only we would be preaching to the converted

as per usual

when the people who need the advice are the very people who cannot afford £3 for a magazine
Still .. I think I may sign on the dotted line .. and focus on road safety issues as part and parcel of good parenting.
