I must say I am more mindful of the difficulties of pedestrians these days, especially at busy junctions in towns etc. To be honest I find I have to make more of a conscious effort to check all round before crossing the road on foot myself in such situations. I guess it is a natural slowing down of the ability to take in information and evaluate it that tends to come with advancing years. Fortunately it's not yet reached the point where I have to get Eileen to hold my hand as we cross the road, but in any case the old girl's getting on a bit herself now.
It's all about looking out for each other, ain't it?
Best wishes all,
Dave.
