There have been a few high profile accidents recently. One in Nottingham where a man was killed by a speeding Police car. I have read somewhere that around 100 die as a direct result of Police action but it was from a few years back, If thats so its about 3% of the total...thats a lot.
Does anybody have the facts to hand. It would be interesting to know if these are recorded as speed related casualties.
This must make the Police the most dangerous group of drivers in the UK...
BTW I live on a 30mph dual carriage way which has mobile cameras on it, There is also a main Police station. The Police cars are always doing 40+ up and down the road when the van is not there...no lights flashing. I knoe this because of the speed the zoom past the other motorists who are doing 30....
