The have been some strange goings on over at the Cumbria S Camera Partnership forums.

I have a feeling that some good members of the community there may no longer be welcome. I've set up this forum for the use of refugees driven out by an oppressive regime.

I'll do my very best to make you feel at home.

Refugee: A person driven from his or her home to seek refuge, esp. in a foreign country, from war, religious persecution, political troubles, natural disaster, etc.; a displaced person.

Should someone maybe publicise it over there? :wink:

<ducks>

I think the phrase "ethnic cleansing" covers it nicely! :lol:

As I appear to be the first to get the boot I can only say I am glad.

Who the hell wants to hang on to a sinking ship

All I have to say about the moderators over there is that they spoiled some damn good R's when they put teeth in their mouths.

My profile disappeared overnight. Never posted on there, but was useful research for my PhD. Never mind, I can chase up my thoughts through the upper echelons of the partnership.

Bit perturbed and rather personally disturbed as to why my profile was deleted though. Worthy of some thought, I think.

:lol:

Nice forum. I'm not a refugee yet, but judging by the utterly random way they're enforcing their completely insane rules, I don't suppose it will be wrong.

Excellent initiative here. I've also watched developments and find it all very amusing actually. Definitely puts SafeSpeed on the moral high ground! There's been some excellent posting recently too, well done all.

Has anyone got the means of copying the messages from the other forum so that they can be preserved should the ship really sink, and the site shuts down? There's a lot of good info and interchanges there, and it would be a shame to lose them all.
