Observed this incident 400 yards from Kendal Nick yesterday...

Police van following Transit van turning left from Burneside Rd into Busher Walk. Transit stops abruptly 2 yards into Busher Walk on the double yellows - Police van nearly runs into the back of Transit...

Transit driver on phone... Just for good measure, left brake light defective...

So we've got, stopping in a dangerous position, driving on phone and defective light - surely worth a "word" at the very least?

But oh no, Police van drives straight past back to the Nick. I presume he was "late for his lunch" (it was about 1pm!).

Unless he was on some other "urgent business" what do we pay these people to do?
