Admin has "removed threads" this morning. Since there's no way of seeing the deleted threads, I'd be interested in figuring out exactly what threads have been removed. Two of mine have gone:

"Question for Steve" Asked if he'd made last weekend's deletion by himself or under instructions.

"What are the rules?" Asked what the current forum rules were, pointed out several inconsistencies, and begged for clarity of rules. I also made the point that censorship was hated.

And another of my threads has gone. I can't remember the title, nor the exact content. It's a damn shame because I spent ten minutes or so working on the exact wording.

It drew a strong parallel between over reliance on arbitrary rules and disproven ideas on both the roads and in the forum.

They mange both the roads and the forum with dogged persistence based on false and flawed ideas.

He may as well remove the lot and shut the forum down.

A forum without free speech is not worth having.

Lets not forget who pays for the CSCP forums running costs. The Tax Payer.

Don't tell Ernest but most of it must come from the residents in Lakeland.

The people responsible for the forum are no more than Dictators who cannot accept democracy and free speech.

Hear hear.

It really has gone rather pear-shaped for CSCP.

I suspect though they may have been leaned on by "external forces" and are now scrabbling around for the least embarrassing exit strategy. Reading between the lines it would appear we have upset Mr Callaghan's Lords and Masters at the DfT. Excellent! What was conceived by CSCP as a "novel" approach to public relations and a tool for gauging the public mood has simply become a thorn in the side of the scammer industry. But we cannot expect the collective mindset of a bunch of crooked, narrow-minded, limited-intellect cardboard dictators to willingly listen to or accept the Voice of Reason. However truth and justice must prevail.

In an odd sort of way I'll miss the forum if it goes - I've certainly had a lot of fun on there!

Best regards,

Max

I made a somewhat conciliatory post:

http://www.cumbriasafetycameras.org/for ... entry12691

Let's see whether they back off or not.
