Has any research been done with regard to the end of road safety training and the rise in child road casualties? The thought came to me a couple of weeks ago watching a young mother(?) trying to get her brood across a buisy road. What struck me was there was a perfectly servicable pedestrian crossing no more than 50 feet from where she was. I would assume the children will certainly follow their mothers(?) example, and it seems this kind of behaviour has been on the increase since the demise of Green Cross Man and his like.
