The TTl 20 20 speed camera if used in accordance with the law is to co-oberate an officers opinion that a motorist is speeding. Now if they are simply zapping everthing that moves, in other words they are not looking at vehicles assertaining that they are speeding then targeting them with the speedscope to measure their speed, they are simply targeting the vehicle with the speed scope and zap. All this is clearly wrong. Now I have calculated that the officer in question took 1.27 seconds to assertain my speed and aim the speed scope at my car and measure my speed. Must be wrong. Has anyone got any scientific data on how long it should reasonably take to select a target assess it and aim a speedscope at it.
