Honest Andy you are a brain dead fool. Why do you expect everyone to be as s**t at their job as you clearly are. You lack all the qualities of a decent prison officer as you lack all the qualities of being a decent human being.

Get a life, some people think PCSOs are a great thing, some people think PCSOs are not. Please try to see things from other people's point of view, your lack of respect for others is frightening for someone in your position of work.

Forums are great, they enable people to spread their opinions, however all you want to do is spread your own ego and hatred which is just wrong.

Have you ever considered the possibility that people may want to be a PCSO to act as a bridge between communities that have lost faith with the police, and the police themselves. Perhaps you've not considered the PCSOs role in acting as the "eyes and ears" for the police on the streets where they spend almost all their time and where police spend little time, due the amount of paperwork that is required from them.

PCSOs that have the same powers as PCs would defeat the object as if they could arrest then they would have the same amount of paperwork so please educate yourself before you lash out with your hate.

Oh and what colour are those caps again? Blue? Well done! How clever!

At the risk of teaching veterans how to suck eggs, a good thing to do is to draft a post (in word/notepad/whatever, go and have a cuppa, come back and read it "cold" - and if you still think it's a good post, post it then.

If I said "I hate all prison officers, they are a waste of space and are all people that couldnt get in the police" then I this would be on a par.

I could nt give a hoot what you think about Prison Officers cos I am not one...!!! where would we be with all the prisoners in custody let out on the loose. I do work with them and they do the best they can. The prison service is at breaking point....!!

Money wasted on PCSOs should be spent building prisons or for giving the officers more money !!!

If the Prison Officers werent here.. went on strike the government would have to bring in the police or troops to hold and look after prisons etc etc...

No argues the cost of prisons. really you have to have em !!

If every PCSO in this country was sacked or went on strike tomorrow...

Big Si has even tried to suggest more money for them..told me he had left the police to be a PCSO...just for a cushy life..he s right I have seen them..roaming around in gangs , shopping while we pay their wages.

I thought “Troll” would be acceptable in the scheme of things, considering the battering I have received, nonetheless I will complie.

Andy, you say you have posted the letter to the Mod’s, could the Mod’s explain what that letter said.

My assumption is that the only thing sent to the Mod’s was a letter of complaint, which could easily have been drawn up minutes after he was asked to post it.
Just my guess, am I right??

With every role (including Special Agent Prison Officers on top secret wards) are human and make mistakes, you can post thousands of links showing Prison officers doing naughty ignorant things, same with Police officers and indeed PCSO’s.

Your constant slaging has been noted, lets get back on track and discuss your fine.

I haven't been reading this thread, but honestly I don't have a lot of interest in playground brawls either. That said, I do think we're making progress. The tone has improved - but it's only improved from -10 to -5 on the civility scale.

Anyway, please behave or I'll set Roger on you (Have I sunk to playground level too?). He does have an iron fist in that velvet glove.

Now I’m not attempting to insult Andy, however, there are accusations from him regarding PCSO’s I feel they are unfair and unjustified, therefore a mini investigation has been launched….by me

So who is this intriguing man?

Well Andy has stated that he is a Prison Officer of some form working in some form of Prison type security service where he is “Brilliant at my job, best at driving Instant response vehicle..., Control and Restraint, and all my other statutory yearly audited skills..”

1. He works for a prison service at the highest security levels
2. He drives instant response vehicles
3. He is trained in Control and Restraint
4. He is very busy (unlike thoughs PCSO’s who can do there shopping in work time, his words)

Your posts range from early morning to late evening and throughout midday.
If you work nights, then how would you have time (in your extremely important and busy job) to post comment after comment on this forum over three threads.

You have failed to post the Fine, failed to post the letter of receipt from the force your letter was sent.

All you have done is post a letter (you could have made in five minutes) to the moderators.

You have no proof to any claims, you don’t seem to work, sleep, eat, take car of your kids or your disabled wife? When do you get time to do all this and your highly important, secret Prisoner fast car response officer job and post on this forum Andy?

You can claim to be anyone you want to be, that’s fine, but don’t post false claims, discrediting a job/role with no proof to back up your claim.

First of all, you post where you work for all and sundry to see... !!!

Secondly, I DO take offence at your comment about my wife and kids, I take care of them and my wife is often ill - to the very best of my ability. I work full time, and we share the work of looking after four children VERY seriously . With a disabled wife and four kids I would be better off ( Financially)NOT working but I am a honest hard working man and aways have been.

I do a dangerous job, money is okay, and the job is rewarding cos we keep the streets safe. For the public which includes you !


Next point, we go about our daily lives and do not bother others and try to teach the kids right from wrong.

We go out the door, and we are harrased by BLUECAPS, armed wih traffic speed measuring equipment..they operate the thing wrong wife is fined and points on her licence. (1st in 20 years)

I go to the shops and see bluecaps shopping in the precinct..not a care in the world.looking thru marks and spencer..not at food but clothes.

I wonder to myself, is that what the police are paid for, I then realise NO just these annoying irratating people BLUECAPS !!!

I the realise what a waste of money, and others agree !!!ask Mr Joslin..he is ranting as well is he.

ANYONE who speaks out against the PCSO is met with a barrage of they are great the public could not be with out them !! this is in fact rubbish !!!!

Run a poll..... who could society NOT do without, Prison Officers and Custodial staff or PCSOs... go on then !!!! ask yourself ???

I work two lates and two morning shifts- two days off, so I am here to post well late at night, morning , midday if I am on lates. I was wondering the same about you and Si he is always on here..must be on a late this week cos he has been writing of a morning !!!

I also study part time and have many hobbies, ..etc etc...

Next I post in response to your long winded rebuttals, and how many posts have you made..cant be bothered to count them.

While I'm on just to remind you I didn't quit being a PC for the cushy life of a PCSO, I was stabbed in the face and retired.

You see Andy, my brother is a PO at HMP Manchester and he's never heard of prison officers driving IRV's.

In fact the only vehicles PO's drive with blue lights on are CAT A prisoner transports, under police escort.

In 11 years of policing I've never seen a prison IRV, and I've visited quite a few prisons and a couple of secure hospitals.

I remember from the thread that got nuked, you started verbally flexing your muscles about control and restraint, and how good you were.
If you had any real knowledge on the subject, C&R is not somthing you are graded on as in a martial art, it is a pass/fail subject,same with PPE and first aid.

When people start verbally flexing their muscles in relation to real physical prowess, it is a sign of their ineptitude in that area, someone who is not physically strong, someone who is panicking. (It goes back to the old playground thing of my dad's bigger than yours)

Why hasn't the site admin posted the documents you mailed to them some day's ago now. I know snail mail is slower than e-mail, but it's day's now andy, isn't it.

In fact if your new scanner is working please post the documents for all to see.

Good morning, day off for me...had a great halloween, Thanks..no PCSOs sighted after Mischief Night !!!!

I am sorry to hear you were so badly injured in the course of your duties.

I cant imagine why a former PC injured in the line of duty would want to be a PCSO. !! you are still in harms way, but I suppose it is a lot less frantic...from what I have seen.

I never said I was a prison officer and all establishments are run differently.

I take pride in all that I do...and try to do my very best at the courses and training I undertake ..that is me !!!

I take pride in being good at C and R and it could save me or my workmates getting hurt !!!! .. so yes I do work hard to be good at it..could be the difference between coming home or NOT ! so I dont really apologise to you for being proud at being good at what I do.. I would never suggest that this is something other than self defence...and certainly not martial arts !! as you mention.

I get better training than most,, and that is a fact !!!!

C and R is 5 days on entry ..and two full days a year refresher ..pass or fail - (no marks out of 10...another little joke !!!)

Other courses include fire fighting, H & S, Food hygiene ??? why i dont know ?? mandatory,

Key training, is a full day every year....

Some high secure establishments have perimeter patrols and therefore have a response vehicles to respond to incidents... again driver approved training and testing to drive same...( pass or fail tested every few years)
Some do fail standard set- is high.... !

X ray training search and other specialist tasks are taught to those interested, I have done all the courses... includes looking for IEDS (Bombs) weapons, work with drug dogs...

vehicle search procedures these things are all interesting to do..not like you description of locked in fed up, and the like. Work is varied and very challenging at times..

Worst part I suppose is when you look at some of the crimes the people have committed for whatever reason and you cannot comprehend it

..but then you just get on with what you do ..and be proud of the service you provide to all .. !!!

I have posted the FPN copy and letter of response from police to the mods.. they are not for public view and I have requested the mods do not show them.

I dont know where you got the bit about the letter I made up...the copy of letter from the police has the phone number of complaints chief inspector on it etc etc..so I dont know what you mean.

He was standing with a real PC, same place Prescot Road, St Helens ...the only difference was THE PC was stood operating the laser. PCSO was stood leaning against a wall....

He must have been there to carry the bags and laser to the yellow police van..the only use for him;perhaps..

I have to agree that the thread should be in the soap box - I should have moved it there long ago. However, in deference to Paul who considered some useful wheat was appearing through the mine of chaff, I'll leave it here for now to avoid further complications - but would be happy to see it head to the Soapbox soon..

If anyone wants to start a sensible poll or discusssion that's fine too - in the right place(s)..

I am becoming weary at having to read through here and hesitate before either nuking, warning banning, subtlely editing and PMing... or what I usually do is decide that the grey line belongs to the poster and do nothing (other than wish that all people would try to behave as adults).
