I have received a NIP for 59mph in a 50 limit on a dual carriageway at 225mtrs, I asked and received photo and speed gun certificate used by the mobile camera van. The pic shows myself and another car, the other car is leaving the dual carriageway and is slightly behind and to my left. I was in the 'inside' lane heading towards the camera. However, the camera van was on a flyover and was situated on the far right of said structure, directly above 'inside' lane of opposite carriageway, which would have been some 60 ft to my right, is there any ruling that dictates how far from straight ahead a camera can be used?

This shows the unfairness up. I would want to know if the other car was also nicked.

I confess I do not know answer to your question. French were trialling a long distance scam a while back and ditched the whole idea too per "Figaro"'s motor section.

Hi

Some NIP pointers here.

And for Lti2020 help go here and here.

And you could ring the Mary Monson or call them on 0808 1554 870 and do mention Safe Speed (member or nonmember) ... they also have a free Legal Guide for Motorists on their website

Also the there is Pepipoo.

I hope this and other posts will help you - too.
