i was going along the m3 and i was doing about 70-85 my question is on the motorway on the road there are every few yards there are white boxes painted on the road and there for lasers to average your speed over across one to another my questions what is the speed when they do you is it over a certain speed, also other cars were doing similar speeds to me so i was just keeping up with the flow

They are used with police cars and vascar to "time & distance" you between white boxes. they are unreliable as they rely on the person to push the buttons at the right time as you pass over the white boxes or bridge shadows and then as they pass over the same referance points to measure the distance.

A speed measured by vascar is somewhat "negotiable" in court in a proceedure called a "newton hearing".

IE "you were doing 107", "no I was doing 99, please dont ban me..."

Oh for crying out loud, how many more of these inane 'oh me oh my I may have been spotted by a camera' posts are you going to make?
If you don't know what the rules are, what the law states, or what cameras and camera vans look like then use public transport and give everyone a break.
And use punctuation as well FFS
