I got stopped for speeding in over 2 mths ago and given a verbal nip. I have heard nothing since. I understand they have upto 6 mths to prosecute but is this normal - not a dickybird since the stop?

The wait is causing anxiety and sleepless nights as I would just like to deal with the matter.

Any advice Guys?[/b]

Keep counting.

Any idea why they didn't just give you a fixed penalty at the time?
