The important thing to remember with specs is that they are average speed cameras and are in pairs, spaced out over some distance.
The effect of this is that (a) it doesn't matter if you pass one at a bit over the limit, and (b) as long as your
average speed was below the trigger speed, you're in the clear.
I don't know if the trigger speed is (10% + 2) mph with specs but I assume so - anyone?
It is worth noting that the current generation of specs cameras are set up lane-by-lane, i.e. the first camera in each lane is _only_ linked to one of the second set of cameras (USUALLY the camera covering the same lane), so a judicious lane change between cameras is a good licence insurance policy
