Hi,

Is there a set threshold for these mobile camera vans? A friend of mine who works for west mids police as a traffic officer says that they have a guideline to prosecute anyone 11mph over.

If someone was driving 50mph in a 40zone would they be getting done by the camera in the mobile van?

Possibly.

Only way to know is sit and wait.

Assuming the vehicle was registered to this hypothetical someone then they should know within 14 days.
