My friend and work colleague, Alan, has just received a NIP for speeding on the 24th June. The date it was sent, on the letter, is 15th August.

He was in one of our pool cars, a van in fact, so it arrived at our work for him later than it would doubtless otherwise if it was his own vehicle registered to him at his own address.

Can he still argue the 14 day notice time ‘angle’, despite the circuitous and late route it took to get to him, based on the date in the letter and the date of the offence?

Thanks

Tony

He’s been looking at the road, on line, and during his search he found out the two most lucrative scameras are where he was done; in $tudley.

And still people like to argue it’s not about raising money and ripping the motorist off! Robbing b :censored: ds
