Hi - this may seem daft but is it possible to get done becasue the car going the opposite way was speeding.

I was driving past one of our regular mobile speed camera locations just an hour ago and had seen the van for ages and was only doing 25 but as I went past there was a flash - a car travelling towards me passed at nealy the same time - could he have triggered the camera.

If the camera takes two pictures will they be able to see I was only doing 25.

with over 30 years driving and never a speeding ticket I don't want to get any points because of someone else

I'm pretty sure you'll be OK, but you'll have to wait 14 days to be 100%. (Assuming that you're the registered keeper (RK), that is. - They MUST send a NIP to the RK within 14 days.)

thanks for that - I assumed the cameras must be able to cater for this happening but was still worried - next 14 days will tell
