hello, i was caught doing 84mph on a by-pass.
There was a mobile speed unit that i passed and several miles later i was pulled over by a policeman on a motorcycle. He asked me for my driving license i didnt have it with me at the time so ive been instructed to go the local police station with my driving license

the 3 poins are my main concern is there any way around this?

Unfortunately no. Try the pepipoo site and the Help I'm Being Prosecuted sub fora on here.

As far as inusrance loading is concerned - depends on insurer as to loading - some load at 6 points as increasing numbers seem to have points these days.

Do invest in a useful gadget and look up talivan timetables on the prat sites.

Are you sure it was speeding, and not ANPR? They don't usually bother to pull you in for speeding, as apparently telling you about it 2 weeks later is good enough for ensuring the safety of the roads, and if they did pull you in, it would normally involve a lecture which you would have remembered.
