I have recieved an NIP from Suffolk constabulary. I read on Safespeed's website that getting someone to fill in the form for you and returning it unsigned is a way to get out of the ticket. Is this still true? It says in big legally intimidating (ahem!) type on the bottom not to pass it on to anyone else and it also says not signing it may render me liable to prosecution.
Thanks for your help.
No. The 'unsigned forms' loophole is closed, except perhaps in Scotland.
Get along to
Pepipoo and read about 'PACE witness statement' which is 'son of the unsigned forms loophole'.
