I cannot do the ride, but I can vouch for the services of the NAS.

My youngest son has Aspergers Syndrome - I guess if you read the description on the NAS site, you might be frightened of it, but I would not change anything - he is a real tonic when I have days where things go wrong at work or home.

My wife and I are on a course at present, learning how to deal with difficulties which will crop up in the years to come as he gets older - I'll mention it there! :)

Yes... Ern NAS are well worthy as a cause. I have booked hold to do this myself. My mates have pledged ... I will make cash for them on my bicycle.

I hope any browsers and lurks will lend supprot to this/

www.autism.org.uk

If you care.. and especially to the lurks who moan but never actually DO anything other that BITCH about thos who DO  . then sign up to this cause. NAS need help badly.. as do the children afflicted with this through no fault of their own and their parents who just need a week off duty once per year!

I put my money where my mouth is. I ride that bike every hard mile to help someone. Not "easy rides" but the ones which make you earn the sponsored cash in sweat and endeavour. Yeahh .. I admit it's better than "chugging"

By riding .. am not "in someone's face"... I bartered for sponsorship per mile or "completion" in advance. I can guarantee the minimum sponsorship.. and am more or less certain of the rest anyways

But whatever... please support all good causes with whatever you can spare to give them . They do need and use that cash. It really does not matter as to how much or how little... most welcome each penny.

Every single spare penny helps.. as it does our Paul  So budget it all out. and every little does help each worthy cause

I have Aspergers. The one thing we need more than anything else is simply tolerance of our condition and acceptance that we don't act socially exactly the same as everyone else. I think I may have a milder form of it than others but I generally live a normal life.

Passed this on to the keen cyclists on my Sqn, and I reckon there'll be at least one, if not 2-3 takers.
