With reference to M G's letter of 24 Jan - I entirely agree with his sentments regarding the dangers of cycling aggravated by the wearing of dark clothing.
On As MG stated in his letter - you showed a rider dressed entirely in black on the front cover. This week there is a great articl on Roger Hammond, but unfortunately his new team are dressed entirely in black and appear to make them difficult to see. The photo taken from his rear on page 56 seems to highlight this matter. Perhaps they should incorporate some fluorescent logos on the bakc of their jerseys

When Kriss suggested this on C+ four years ago (and still gets comments

) - they flocked over here and sent me and Ted private messages begging us to control her!
I think her funniest post ever has "twinkles" of this letter. They did actually ride in this gear. Krissi and Wildy bought a glittery lurex cocktail dress from a thrift shop and made some cycling tops from it. They sewed hundreds of sequins on their leggings

and rode off on their bicycles. You could see them from a distance in the glare of the headlights

They did wear yellow helmets with lights attached .. and bikes were equipped with Lupines

They also wore a hi viz belt for this experiment too.
Yep.. decked like Christmas fairies and very noticeable
