A sickening letter by a Cheshire based CW reader.
The lady's husband was taking part in the Manchester 100 event in Spetember - which was raising cash for the Christie Trust (cancer reseach charity for the North West, The
is involved with this charity)
Anyway - she writes that two hours into the event - her husband finds himself facing a white Vx Corsa which more or less "aimed at him"
The cyclist swerved out of the way .. but the car moved in even closer. One of the passengers then leaned out of the window and tried to hit the cyclist in the face with a baseball bat
He raised his arm as reflex to protect and despite the arm being fractured - the rider limped to the Finish line - some 5 hard hours later.
The car accelerated off with a hail of foul language.. and was duly reported to GMP - who discovered this to be yet another STOLEN CAR
So far these dangerous thugs have not been caught... and if anyone out there knows who they are - kindly let GMP know as we want to protect folk out there from these real criminals .
