Will drop into here.

BBC carry the same sad basics.

No details but if anyone out there saw whatever .. I think GMP may welcome the witness statements all the same. Usual crimestoppers number.

A CYCLIST has died after he was knocked off his bike.

He was heading along Higher Road, in Urmston, when it is thought he was in a collision with a BMW.

The cyclist, thought to be in his early 20s, suffered severe head injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics took a second person to Trafford General Hospital suffering from shock.

It happened just before 2.45am on Sunday.

Police said a 35-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Whoever these were .. condolences to ALL involved. All suffer the shock.. angry .. disbelief .. guilt . TRAUMA.

I think folk forget that the one who collided is a human being with very real feelings who feels the same as the bereaved. I do have Pc D of the North East in my mind.. and the Over Kellett pair too. You cannot condone.. but we have to accept that those who caused the trauma will live with their guilt forever and their guilty pain may well be the same as the grief.
