OK. I have some stats in possession from abroad as mailed to me by Wildy who has mailed them off line to Claire to peruse at her leisure and reply only when digested. As self.

Wildy fired off more than dozen e-mail with links to EU stats which would appear to contradict the official figures - given we are 5th overall and Wildy produces stats from abroad which are really worrying, If we are placed 11th then - we must be seriously "dangerous". Durham's stats show this not to be so. As do N Yorks Northumbria and even Cleveland Maybe it's all down to them Southerners

Per the CTC - they are saying cycling has increased and that 16K cyclists were injured and 136 killed in 2007.

I know Wildy can confirm all this CTC stuff. She's sitting on some stats which she needs to put into the main forum. She's put most of this in private mail to mods/Claire and me for input before "going public" I dare say she will put up these stats/reports in due course in between her maternal duties.
