:gatso2: BBC Radio Ulster - The Nolan Show. Are roads too dangerous for children to cycle on?

https://audioboom.com/boos/2637133-are- ... rew-debate

How do you feel about children cycling? Olympic gold medal winning cyclist Chris Boardman has said that he won't let his daughter ride a bike on the road because cycling just doesn't feel safe. He thinks that most parents feel the same which is why less children are cycling. What do you think is this just parents being overly protective or are our roads just too dangerous? Commentators Heidi McAlpin and Brendan Mulgrew debate

For once ,I agree. Neither are guns dangerous in TRAINED hands.
The argument is that in all situations, all must adhere to a set of rules and TRAINING AND respect for other road users to allow for safety and consideration for all on the roads. And then allow for those who fail to respect the rights of others. So then,I start to disagree an children are not mature enough to be aware of the dangers ( or experienced enough ) TO SPOT THE important person .
