Actually the Police have a long tradition of making good use of bicycles.

Mountain bikes are in use in many city areas these days.

no sure how useful they are but they seemed to like the press coverage when they started. :roll:

I know of one or two - more now, but I notice we dont have them in Windermere - I dont suppose it's because of the hills? :lol:
They WOULD make sense when the tourists have the roads blocked - but that happens less and less these days. :oops:

We use 'em Great for (:yikes: (think of our poor nuts) going up and down steps.... :shock: :o


We were trained at great taxpayers's expense to do this ... :shock:

But .. with a bit legal furious pedalling :twisted: - we gets our usually hooded man :twisted: :wink:

Ah.. bike chases... oooh... more thrilling than a car pursuit.... :wink: Indeed pitting your raw skills against the bad guy.... :roll:
